The world of HR seems to be full of “R’s” lately: Recruiting, Retention, the Great Resignation, the Great Reset, Total Rewards, Remote. One “R” that often goes unnoticed is core to any endeavor that involves people: Relationships. Talent Acquisition and its twin, Retention, are the most visible function of any HR organization. Despite new tools, both rely on understanding people and what they want, then developing strategies that deliver on those desires. Are the dynamics all organizations are facing transitory? Is this the new reality?
